Hi Fins! A few reminders...

1.) We have a Breaststroke/Butterfly clinic this Saturday, June 20. The cost is $10 cash or venmo due at the time of the clinic. This is for swimmers who are in bronze, silver and gold. RSVP for clinic HERE

2.) Please sign up HERE to volunteer at our final meet of the season, Monday, June 22

3.) All are welcome to join us tomorrow morning for our final mini meet of the season at 9:00 followed by ribbons and donuts at 9:30. Kids are welcome to stay for free swim afterwards.

Meet #5 @ Brynwyck Info

Our final meet is on Monday, June 22 at 5:30 for our swim meet against Byrnwyck located at 1000 Byrnwyck Rd, Brookhaven, GA 30319.

-DNDC arrive at 4:15 - 4:30

-DNDC warm up at 5:00

Parking

Please feel free to drive into the parking area as they will have a couple spots reserved for us. We are welcome to park on the neighborhood streets as the parking lot will be extremely limited-- just remember to follow the "no parking" signs and park only on the right hand side of the street and to not block driveways.

Bullpen

Our bullpen will be located on the far side of our pool next to the baby pool. Benches will be set up on the opposite side of the pool for a pre-deck area for us to use.

Meet Logistics

Brynwyck has a 6-lane 25 meter pool. Byrnwyck will race in lanes 2, 4, and 6 and will warm up at 4:30. DNDC will race in lanes 1, 3, and 5.

TimeDrops System and Volunteer Needs

They have a TimeDrops system which is approved by the league to record official times in each race.

This will require ONE volunteer timer/writer from EACH team to be positioned in each lane (Example- Lane 1 has one home and one visitor timer). Both volunteers will have the remote button which will record the official finishes in each race.

One of these two volunteers will also operate the backup stopwatch and one volunteer will write the time on the clipboard.

This eliminates the Master Recorder and Judges Recorder positions and the Place Judges become a backup in case of equipment failure.

Concessions

A full concession stand is available that night including hot dogs, pizza, chips, drinks, candy, and snow cones. We prefer Cash but will accept Venmo. Please bring small bills, if possible.
