Two meets next week - all the information you need to know!
Hello & Happy Sunday Fins Families!
We have a VERY big week next week, including our first home meet on Tuesday against Mill Glen and our make-up meet at Kingsley on Thursday! Please read thoroughly for all the important details.
Two VERY IMPORTANT things to complete today:
1. Our Tuesday RSVPs are mostly complete, but we still need many people to RSVP their swimmers for Thursday. If you have not already completed the RSVP for your child, please do so NOW! Coach Kelly needs to get the line-ups done and sent to the other coach today! Here is the link to RSVP!
2. We still have MANY volunteer positions open for both meets, and we cannot do this without you! If you have not signed up for a Volunteer position for Tuesday and Thursday, PLEASE do so HERE for Tuesday and HERE for Thursday!
Details for Tuesday, June 2:
1. Pictures: We will be taking professional individual and team pictures before this meet.
If you would like individual pictures, please arrive by 3:15pm. The team photo will be at 4:15pm.
PLEASE ALL ARRIVE BY 4:00pm for the team photo, even if you are not getting individual photos.
The order form for pictures is attached to this message. They will bring hard copies with them as well.

5. Senior Night: We will celebrate our 2 seniors, Coach Delaney and Coach Gabriela, at the end of the meet. Please stay until the end and help us celebrate them before the final relay!
Details for Thursday, June 4th (make-up meet at Kingsley):
1. Swim Meet:
Kingsley Swim and Tennis
2325 N Peachtree Way
Dunwoody, GA 30338
2. Parking: They reserve the Kingsley parking lot for our team. Once parking fills up, cars may park on one side of the street on North Peachtree Way or on North Peachtree Road. Please do not park within 30 feet of the traffic calming devices or the entire area under the power lines on North Peachtree Road to avoid neighbor complaints.
3. Arrival Time: 4:15-4:30
- 4:30 Kingsley warm-up
- 5:00 DNDC warm-up
- 5:30 Meet starts
4. Team Area and Bullpens
Our bullpens will be set up on the right side of the of the pool - the side with the diving boards and baby pool. There is not much shade on the pool deck so we will be bringing 5-6 tents, but feel free to bring your own if you want to guarantee shade. There will be some chairs, but feel free to bring additional ones. *The diving well is not to be used during swim meets. Please keep swimmers out of that end of the pool and off diving boards.
5. Bathrooms and a water bottle filling station are located inside the Clubhouse (door next to the concession stand). We ask that, during meets, spectators please use the bathrooms in the "club house" located near the concessions. There are bathrooms in our "new" pavilion but they are located behind the blocks, which will be very busy with swimmers.
6. Concessions:
They will have a typical offering at their concessions including pizza, burgers, hot dogs, candy, chips and drinks. They accept Venmo or cash (small bills preferred). King of Pops may be available in the parking lot.
For both meets:
1. Photos taken by families: If you love taking pictures and bringing joy to swim parents when they see fancy shots of their kids in the pool- PLEASE BRING YOUR CAMERA and post your shots on our Facebook page!
2. Swimtopia App: The Swimtopia app allows you to see your child(ren)'s events in order. It is handy to look at them listed in the app. Just download the app and sign in with your normal Swimtopia login. Swimtopia App link
3. What event is your kid swimming in: The coaches will write your swimmer's events on their arms. That is how the kids remember what they are swimming. Please write your child’s name and age on your child's right shoulder blade with sharpie.
We use black sharpie to write on the children's arms (and they like to decorate their arms and legs). The sharpie/sunscreen combo often leads to black sharpie rubbing off on our white deck chairs. We ask that you remind your children not to lean on the white chairs if they have sharpie on their backs. Putting a towel on their chair is also a great option.
4. Volunteering: Please look for the volunteer table when you arrive to check in for your volunteer shift and get your lanyard.
THANKS, we will see you next week!
If you have any questions, please let us know, GO FINS!!
